An American-Palestinian teenager after completing 270 days in Israel's custody absent formal charges gained freedom.

The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 during his detention in February throughout the West Bank territory, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones toward Israeli settlers, which he previously denied.

The US state department expressed satisfaction with the news of Mohammed's release.

Now sixteen years old, was taken to hospital upon gaining freedom, according to close relatives.

According to them, he appears pale, underweight, and experiencing medical problems acquired while detained.

In a statement, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "immense relief".

Family member Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "living a horrific and endless nightmare" during the entire detention period.

"At this moment, we're concentrating on ensuring Mohammed receives prompt healthcare he requires following exposure to harsh conditions and cruel circumstances over several months."

US officials announced ongoing to extend consular services for the Ibrahim family.

{"US government authorities has no higher priority to ensuring the safety for United States citizens"," the department emphasized.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to the state department and President Donald Trump, urging greater action to release him.

Mohammed's parent, with four children operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, previously said his child admitted guilt about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.

The father hadn't visited nor direct contact since the arrest, and only heard regarding the treatment through judicial records.

The teenager remained absent formal charges within Ofer penitentiary on the West Bank.

It is also home to adult prisoners, including individuals found guilty of serious terrorism offences including killings.

There are around 350 Palestinian child security detainees being held in Israeli jails, according to the Israeli Prison Service.

Numerous remain uncharged along with monitoring agencies, including UN bodies, say some have suffered physical abuse and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, family representatives announced they would maintain their efforts for justice for his cousin Sayfollah Musallet.

The dual national youth per medical officials died from beating by radical settlers following tensions during summer.

At the time, the Israeli military said authorities were looking into reports a Palestinian civilian had been killed.

Both young men were employed together in the family ice cream shop from Tampa.

No indictments occurred with Sayfollah's killing.

"We anticipate the American government to protect our families," the uncle stated.
